Battlefield V’s long-awaited custom games feature will be released on Monday, DICE has confirmed.

Thedelayed Community Games feature(previously known as Private Games) will enable players to create and play on customised servers with specific settings.

At launch, users will be able to create several game configurations, create and join private games, choose modes and maps, select game size (16, 32, 64), choose a password, and kick or ban players.

Battlefield community manager Jeff Braddock said Community Games is a work in progress, withadditional featuresset to arrive in 2020.

DICEhas also released an overview trailer for the game’s latest map, the horseshoe-shaped Wake Island, which is set to be released on December 12.

An updated version of the first ever Battlefield map, which appeared in 2002’s Battlefield 1942,Battlefield V’s Wake Island is twice the size of the original.

The most recentBattlefield V update rebalanced most of the game’s weapons. Launched last week, update 5.2 focuses on addressing the damage values of weapons over range, “ensuring that there’s now a better variety of options to help suit different styles of gameplay for each class.”
