The classic Rare platformer Banjo-Kazooie will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online this week.
Nintendoof America has announced in a tweet that the 1998 fan favourite will be added to the service’s Expansion Pack tier on January 20.

This makes it the second new N64 title added to the Expansion Pack tier since its launch in October.
It will follow N64’s Paper Mario, whichjoined the Switch Online Expansion Pack servicein December.

Nintendo originally announced in December thatBanjo-Kazooiewould be coming to Switch Online.
At the time, Banjo-Kazooie’s original developerRaresaid in a statement: “It’s a pleasure to be ushering the bear and bird onto Nintendo’s latest console, offering another modern way (alongsideXboxGame Pass and Rare Replay) to savour its many collectibles and googly eyes.”

Once it’s added to the service, the full list ofNintendo 64games available on Switch Online will be:

Nintendo has also said thatPokémonSnap, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Mario Golf and F-Zero X will be added to the service at some point.
Switch’s N64 library is set to receive over 20 additional titlesin the future, if a recent datamine of the platform is to be believed.

That’s according to analysis by Twitter userMondoMega, who has worked out using the launch games’ database IDs that at least 38 games are planned in total for the service.
That represents 17 more N64 titles than were released for both Wii andWii U’s Virtual Console service.
