Baldur’s Gate 3 is getting a physical Deluxe Edition next year, developer Larian Studios has announced.
TheBaldur’s Gate 3Deluxe Edition will be released in ‘Q1 2024’ and will be available onXbox Series X,PS5andPCfor $79.99 / €79.99.

At the moment, the physical edition can only be pre-ordereddirectly from Larian’s website.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was released in August to widespread critical acclaim, with both the PC and PS5 versions currently sitting on aMetacritic score of 96.

The game is still set to be released on Xbox Series X and S by the end of 2023.Lariansaid on Wednesday that it would be announcing theXboxversion’s release date duringThe Game Awardson December 7.
An Xbox release was held back from release and was at one pointlooking unlikely to release until 2024, seemingly due to the apparent belief thatMicrosoftrequired full feature parity between the Xbox Series X and Series X versions.

This was proving to be a sticking point for Larian, because it was struggling to get the game’s co-op mode running on the less powerful Series S hardware to a level that it was happy with.
However, after Xbox bossPhil Spencerstated thatfeature parity wasn’t actually a requirement, Larian founder and CEO Swev Vincke posted on Twitter thata solution had been foundthat would allow the game to be released on Xbox Series X and Series S this year.
