Marvel’s Avengers will have exclusive content for customers of specific mobile networks, Intel and more, in addition to this month’s PlayStation announcements.
As reported byJayShockblaston YouTube, Verizon Up and Virgin Media customers will be able to redeem exclusive character costumes when theSquare Enixtitle releases next month.
In addition, the publisher will offer another set of exclusive costumes as part of a promotion with Intel. Finally, those who purchase special packs of 5 Gum in the US will be able to claim a special in-game emote.
According to aRedditpost, the skins included in the promotion are as follows:
Publisher Square Enix has previously confirmed it has a global marketing deal withPlayStation, which includesearly beta access for PS4 playersandtimed exclusive cosmeticsfor all characters.
DeveloperCrystal Dynamicsalso confirmed this month thatSpider-Man would be added to the Marvel’s Avengers rosterin early 2021, “available at no additional cost to owners of the base game, exclusively on PlayStation”.
Asked how Xbox and PC gamers who want to play as Spider-Man should feel, studio headScot Amossaid they “have the option to do so on PlayStation.”
“I would say thatMarvel’s Avengershas a lot of heroes, and with the scope and the breadth of this game and this universe, players are going to have their hands full with a lot to play with,” he said.

Marvel’s Avengers is set to release on September 4 for current-gen consoles andPC.Avengers is also set to launch on next-generation consoleslater this year and owners of the current-gen version will be able to upgrade at no additional cost.
