Apex Legends could introduce a new ‘Tropic Island’ map as part of its Season 11 update, dataminers have suggested.
According to dataminerShrugtal, who previouslyuncoveredreferences toApex’s Arenas modeprior to its launch, the first reference to a new Tropic Island map was found in the game’s files back in August 2020.

Respawnpreviously released brand newApex Legendsmaps in the form ofWorld’s Edgein Season 3 and Olympus in Season 7, and new discoveries have suggested it could be planning to add Tropic Island in Season 11.
Fellow Apex Legends dataminerGarretfirst reported in July that the game files now include a set of textures for a new Trident, the hovercraft introduced alongside Olympus.

These vehicles, which are reportedly referred to as ‘Hover Vehicle Tropics’, can be differentiated from the existing ones due to the fact that they’re covered in mud.
It’s also suggested the Tropic Island map could be set on the planet Gaea and play home to Carthage spiders “as a persistent map feature and threat”.

Shrugtal claims a recent discovery in Apex Legends’ Season 10 patch is likely a reference to the implementation of AI onto the Tropic Island map on a large scale.
