An unannounced game seemingly based on Far Cry spin-off anime series Captain Laserhawk has been rated in Europe.
As spotted byGame Rant, Captain Laserhawk Niji Warrior has been rated byPEGI, suggesting an official reveal could be on the way.

The title, which has only received a rating for aPCversion so far, is likely based on Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, aNetflixanimated series that was itself inspired byFar Cry3: Blood Dragon.
The show follows a cyborg super-soldier branded an enemy of the state and struggling to find a cause worth fighting for in a dystopian society.

The game sees “players take part in a laser ‘deathmatch’ and compete to eliminate the most opponents,” according to PEGI’s rating. It also lets players purchase in-game items, such as cosmetics.
Press reports earlier this year claimed thatUbisoft is currently developing Far Cry 7and a standalone Far Cry multiplayer game.

It’s claimed that Far Cry 7 is being made withUbisoft’s Snowdrop engine, rather than the Dunia engine used for recent series entries. The multiplayer game is reportedly an extraction-based shooter set in the Alaskan wilderness.
Both titles were said to be tentatively scheduled for release in the fall/autumn of 2025.

Ubisoft has also been making numerous appointments and promotions surrounding the Far Cry brand, to prepare for the series’ future.
Last August, Ubisoft Montreal veteran Sandra Warrenwas promoted to vice president and executive producerof the Far Cry brand. Warren joined Ubisoft in 2006 and has been involved in the Far Cry series since 2016’s Primal. Most recently, she was the brand producer forFar Cry 6.

Earlier that month, Ubisoft alsopromoted Far Cry 5 writer Drew Holmesto Far Cry IP director. VGC understands Warren will have the most senior role of the pair in terms of production, while Holmes will oversee the creative roadmap for the series.
