Where is the Traveling Merchant in Fisch?
Once the ping lets you know that the Traveling Merchant has arrived, it’s up to you to find where he’s moored.
The notification will tell you the general map location he’s at, but you won’t be able to pinpoint his position withoutFisch coordinateson show.
You can stumble upon him, but some of his potential locations can be tricky to explain to your friends.
If the notification says that the Fisch Traveling Merchant has arrived at Moosewood, you’ll find him at the end of the long pier. He’s in a tiny little boat—that isn’t another player’s vessel.
To buy from the Traveling Merchant, dive from the dock into his boat. Talking to him won’t open a Shop menu. Instead, interact with the three items on the deck of his boat to buy them.

Are Fisch Traveling Merchant items worth it?
Of the lot, the crates offered by the Traveling Merchant can be a good investment.
They’re inexpensive but can reward a bunch of fish you’ve never encountered before, saving you the lengthy time investment it would normally take to fish them up from around the map.
Similarly, the Geode can be busted open for some decent rewards.Rarefish and bait are up for grabs.
Volcanic Geodes can only be found with the Magnet bait and are quite a rare catch. You can either spend your days trying to find one, or just nab one from the Traveling Merchant for 600 sea dollars.
