Creative Assembly’s acclaimed first-person horror game, Alien: Isolation will release for Nintendo Switch on December 5.
Ported by Feral Interactive, theSwitchversionwill add support for gyroscopic aiming and HD rumbleand include all DLC released for the game.
Alien: Isolation for Switch will be released via theNintendoeShop for £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 / ¥4400.
Originally developed byCreative Assemblyand released in 2014, the first-person survival horror was inspired by 1979’s Alien movie and drew praise for its tense gameplay and immersive world.
Players take on the role of Weyland-Yutani employee Amanda Ripley, daughter of Alien movie protagonist Ellen.
In a story set 15 years after Ridley Scott’s film, Amanda’s mission to uncover the truth about her mother’s disappearance leads her to a decommissioned trading station on the fringes of space.
“Sevastopol Station is a labyrinthine environment that contains hundreds of hidden items that provide clues to the station’s catastrophic decline,” the Switch version’s developer said in a statement.
“As they explore, players will crawl through air vents, scope out hiding places, scavenge for resources, and deploy tech in a life-or-death struggle to outthink the terrifying Alien, whose unpredictable, dynamic behaviour evolves after each encounter.”
