A Nintendo Switch version of Alan Wake Remastered has been classified in by the US by the Entertainment Software Rating Board.
The country’s classification body hasratedthe game forNintendo’s console alongside the recently releasedPC,PS4,PS5,Xbox One, andXbox Series X/Sversions.

On September 20, a Switch version ofAlan Wake Remasteredwas also classified in Brazil.
Contacted at the time about any plans it might have to bring Alan Wake Remastered to Switch, a spokesperson for publisherEpic Gamestold VGC the company had nothing new to announce.

Alan Wake is an action-adventure game first released forXbox 360and PC in 2010. It follows a best-selling thriller novelist as he tries to uncover the mystery behind his wife’s disappearance, all while experiencing events from his latest book which he cannot remember writing.
DeveloperRemedyand publisher Epicannounced Alan Wake Remastered in early Septemberand the game was released on October 5.

It includes the original game and its two story expansions, The Signal and The Writer, improved with 4K visuals and a new commentary from creative directorSam Lake.
“Alan Wake Remastered is the original experience you fell in love with all those years ago. We did not want to change that,” said Lake.

“But the visuals all around, including the character model of Alan Wake himself and the cinematics, have been updated and improved with some choice next-generation upgrades.”
