Microsoft has reintroduced a $1 trial offer for some Xbox Game Pass subscriptions.
The introductory offer lets players get their first month ofXboxGame Pass Ultimate orPCGame Pass for $1 / £1 (the deal is not available for Game Pass for console).

The same offer was previously available for several years beforeMicrosoft ended it in March, when it said it was “evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future”.
The $1 offer’s reintroduction followsMicrosoft’s move toraise Game Pass prices this week.

As of July 6, prices increased in most markets excluding Norway, Chile, Denmark, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.
The monthly price of an Xbox Game Pass subscription for console rose from $9.99 to $10.99 (£7.99 to £8.99 / €9.99 to €10.99).

And the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate price increased from $14.99 per month to $16.99 (£10.99 to £12.99 / €12.99 to €14.99).
PC Game Pass pricing didn’t change, remaining at $9.99 / £7.99 per month.
