An actor has claimed that he will be starring in 2024’s Call of Duty title.
Luke Charles Stafford claimed on social media channels that he’ll appear in the unannounced game as a character named Ratcliffe.
“Activisiondecided to adapt their next main character, ‘Ratcliffe’ for CALL OF DUTY off of my face/likeness, and I am elated,” Stafford said.
“To all of my college roommates back at @andersonuniversity and those years in @smithhallau playing Black Ops II… Next year, we can beat the snot out of each other again, but I want to play as me.”
Stafford’s messages also included a number of videos of the actor seemingly performing motion capture work for the game.

2024’s Call of Duty game will reportedly be a new Black Ops title set during the Gulf War, with development being led byTreyarch.
Concept art for the game seemingly appeared online last year after it wasdiscovered in the files of the Call of Duty Warzone mobile app.It appeared to show an F-117 jet fighter, a stealth attack aircraft which was widely used during the conflict.
As suggested byInsider Gamer,the character Stafford claims to be playing could be based on Major Peter Ratcliffe, a former British army soldier who was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal for gallantry in action during the Gulf War.
Following his time in the military, Ratcliffe published a memoir of his time during the conflict titled Eye of the Storm.
Several NBA players took to social media earlier this week to claim that they had been shown a demo of2023’s Call of Duty title.
The next mainline series entry will reportedly bea continuation of last year’s Modern Warfare 2, developed bySledgehammer Games.
