Activision has provided the first look at Call of Duty Warzone’s next map.
Ahead of a full reveal later this week, the publisher tweeted the teaser image of the new map below. It will launch as part of the battle royale game’s integration with the upcomingModern Warfare 3.

The image reveals a port location featuring several cranes and plenty of shipping containers, and a larger city area in the background including a skyscraper under construction.

The image was released as part of a teaser for the Call of Duty: Next live stream, which will take place on October 5 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST.

It will showcase Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer modes including Zombies, plus newCall of Duty Warzonecontent andCall of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
Activisionhas also published a video focused on new weapon customisation features for Modern Warfare 3, which is viewable below.

According toActivision, “Aftermarket Parts give you an entirely new way to interact with a weapon while in Gunsmith, utilizing Conversion Kits to transform a weapon to become something entirely different.”
“Think of them as remixes for the guns,” saysSledgehammer Games’ systems designer Nick Carraro. “It’s a way for players to come back to a weapon that they may have already mastered or played out and it’s going to give them an entirely new dimension to interact with the gun in a way that regular attachments can’t.”

Design director Zach Hodson adds: “They’re nearly a new gun. [Aftermarket Parts] are powerful, meaningful changes to these weapons.”
The first of twoModern Warfare 3 multiplayer beta weekendswill kick off on October 6, and it will be available exclusively onPS4andPS5.

Set for release on November 10, Modern Warfare 3 is a direct sequel to last year’sModern Warfare2. Development is being led by Sledgehammer Games, in collaboration withInfinity Ward, whileTreyarchis in charge of its Zombies mode.
