Since originally confirming UniversoNintendo‘s story, Midori is now distancing themselves from it somewhat.
In a subsequent series of tweet replies, they have since said the Sonic Heroes remake is “being considered” rather than confirming development has started.

They added: “I do not know about this remake title being released in next three years, and I don’t have any information on that.”
Released onGameCube,PS2,XboxandPCin 2003, Sonic Heroes attempted to upend the typical Sonic formula by putting players in control of a team of three characters,

There are four teams: Team Sonic (consisting of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles), Team Dark (Shadow, Rouge and E-123 Omega), Team Rose (Amy, Cream and Big) and Team Chaotix (Espio, Charmy and Vector).

This is correct information. But there is not Sonic Adventure remakes right now.
Each team’s trio is split into three ability types – speed, flight and power – and the player has to switch between the characters while playing to make use of their individual abilities to get past each stage’s obstacles.

Each team also has a special Team Blast move, in which all three combine their abilities to deliver a powerful attack that wipes out any nearby enemies on the screen.
Although Sonic Heroes was met with mixed reviews, it has developed a cult following over the years. It has never been remastered or remade in the 21 years since its debut, however.
