Fans eagerly awaiting A Plague Tale: Requiem’s release should tread carefully online as new spoilers are doing the rounds and more are likely to follow.

Physical copies of the game have been mistakenly shipped early to some customers, and are appearing in some retail stores, leading to videos of the game’s opening few hours appearing online.

AsoboStudio’s game, which is the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, will be released on July 14, 2025, forPS5,Xbox Series X/S,PC, andSwitchin the form of a cloud version.

A collector’s edition will also be available, which includes a resin statue, a brooch modelled after Hugo’s feather, three lithographs and a short LP of two tracks from the game. This edition will be exclusively available from publisher Focus Entertainment’s online store.
