South Korea’s Game Rating committee has rated an unannounced Silent Hill game, following more than a year of reports that Konami is set to revive the classic horror franchise.

“Silent Hill: The Short Message” wasratedby the committee on Monday, with no platforms specified.

The rating is possibly related to one of multiple Silent Hill projects which are reportedly in development at various studios.

According to multiple reports,a Silent Hill 2 remakeis understood to be one of the games in active development. It’s also claimed that an episodic series of Silent Hill “short stories” are also in development.

The images could also be related to yet another Silent Hill game said to be in development, whichleaked online earlier this yearvia multiple concept images which were quickly removed from social media via a copyright claim.

One leaked image for that project,posted online today, appears to show a messaging feature, which could be related to ‘The Short Message’ rating.

It could also be related to a feature that was reportedly planned forHideo Kojima‘s canned Silent Hills, wherethe game would send players real-life text messages.
