Infinity Ward has released a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 update.
While it didn’t release official patch notes for the update, the studiosaidit “fixed various map exploits and bugs across the game” and “fixed an issue that prevented players from editing their Profile Showcase”.

Infinity Ward’sModern Warfare2 Trello board, where players can trackknown issuesthat are being worked on, will also be used to post patch notes “soon”.
The game’s new weapon attachment tuning feature hastemporarily been turned offdue to reports that it’s causing crashes, and itsping system has also been disabledafter players discovered it could be used to track enemies through walls for entire matches.

Modern Warfare 2 support studioTreyarchsaid on Wednesday thatRanked Play will launch for the game in 2023.
It will feature competitive modes, ranked skill divisions, visible skill ratings, a top 250 leaderboard, and competitive rewards.
