Electronic Arts’ Motive studio is set to hold a new developer live stream for its upcoming Dead Space remake on March 11.

“Motiveinvites you to the latest in their series of early looks at development and what goes into the remake of a game,” it said on Monday.

Built from the ground up with the Frostbite engine, it promises to deliver “an improved story, characters, gameplay mechanics and more”, which couldinclude content cut from the original game and features introduced in the sequels.

Motive previously revealed details on the Dead Space remake’s combat, story and mechanics in a developer live stream last August.

The Montreal-based studio shared the first early look at gameplay, including a glimpse of its take on Dead Space’s iconic dismemberment system.
