Electronic Arts’ Motive studio is set to hold a new developer live stream for its upcoming Dead Space remake on March 11.
“Motiveinvites you to the latest in their series of early looks at development and what goes into the remake of a game,” it said on Monday.
The live stream will take place at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on Friday.

EAannounced that it was working on a Dead Space remakewith a short teaser trailer in July 2021.
Helmed by creative directorRoman Campos-Oriolaandformer Assassin’s Creed Valhalla game director Eric Baptizat, the title is in development atStar Wars Squadronsstudio Motive forPS5,Xbox Series X/SandPC.
Built from the ground up with the Frostbite engine, it promises to deliver “an improved story, characters, gameplay mechanics and more”, which couldinclude content cut from the original game and features introduced in the sequels.

The Montreal-based studio shared the first early look at gameplay, including a glimpse of its take on Dead Space’s iconic dismemberment system.
The remake willintroduce a new ‘peeling’ body damage system, which builds on the original’s dismemberment by dynamically removing the flesh from enemies’ bodies.
