A Forspoken demo looks set to be announced imminently.

A tweet promoting the demo was posted by the JapanesePlayStationTwitter account. It seems as though it may have been mistakenly published ahead of schedule, with an official announcement potentially set forThe Game Awardson Thursday.

Alternatively, the demo could be confirmed during a new gameplay showcase on Friday. The 11-minute stream will be broadcast on December 9 at 10am PT / 1pm / ET / 6pm GMT.

Announced for PS5 and PC in June 2020, Forspoken is the debut game fromSquare Enix’s Luminous Productions.

Forspoken has been rated 18 for ‘strong language, alcohol use and in-game purchases’

In June the publisher delayed the game for a second time. Having originally been scheduled to arrive in May 2022, theForspoken release datewas pushed back by a further three and a half months, from October to July 21, 2025.

In August, Square Enix debuted10 minutes of gameplay,focusing on combat and parkour.
