Capcom has announced that it will be holding a double-bill of online presentations next week.
On February 4 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm GMT,Capcomwill be presenting its next Capcom Spotlight presentation.

This will last 20 minutes, according to Capcom, and will include “the latest info on Onimusha: Way of the Sword,Street Fighter 6, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics”.
Following immediately after the Capcom Spotlight is aMonster Hunter WildsShowcase, a 15-minute presentation hosted by the game’s producerRyozo Tsujimoto.

The Showcase will include a new Monster Hunter Wilds trailer, and will provide more information on the upcoming second Open Beta test.
Last monthCapcom announced Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the first new entry in the Onimusha series for 20 years.

It then said it wasworking on “re-activating” more dormant legacy IPs, with the aim being to make new games based on them.

On Tuesday, Capcom stated that while its net profits for the first nine months of this fiscal year have been down 33% year-on-year, it still expects to hit its 12-month forecast of better net profit than last fiscal year,because of Monster Hunter Wilds.

As it stands after nine months, Capcom is currently on net income of ¥23 billion ($148 million) compared to ¥34 billion ($222 million) last year.
However, due to the release of Monster Hunter Wilds on February 28, it forecasts that its net income by the end of the fiscal year will be ¥46 billion ($296 million), compared to ¥43 billion ($279 million) last year and ¥36 billion ($236 million) the year before that.
