Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is being remade for a new generation of players.
That’s according to highly reliable leaker and dataminerbillbil-kun, who claims that a remake of the celebrated adventure title is set to be announced soon.

It’s reportedly set to be published by505 Gamesand could conceivably be revealed at the Game Awards on Thursday night.

Brothers was written and directed by Swedish-Lebanese filmmakerJosef Fares, who developed what his first game in collaboration withStarbreeze, and would later go on to foundIt Takes TwostudioHazelight.

The fantasy game sees the player controlling two brothers at once as they set out on a journey to find a cure to save their dying father.
It was first released in 2013 forXbox 360,PS3and PC, before making its way toPS4,Xbox One,iOS,Android,Windows Phone,Nintendo SwitchandAmazonLuna. 2019’s Switch release added a new two-player co-op mode to the game.

Brothers won several notable awards including the prize for Best Innovation at the 2014 BAFTA Video Game Awards.
