Electronic Arts will reportedly release a remastered version of Battlefield 3 alongside the next mainline entry in DICE’s FPS series.

That’s according to content creatorDaqarie, who previously leaked a significant number of Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 details which turned out to be accurate.

The channel claims the Battlefield 3 remaster will come with all of the DLC packs that followed the original game’s 2011 release, including Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath and End Game.

It’s claimed the remaster has been “in the pipeline for a very long time” and thatDICEinformed prominent Battlefield YouTubers of its plans around the release ofBattlefield Vin November 2018, with a view to them publishing an ‘abnormal’ amount of Battlefield 3 content on their channels in a bid to gauge interest in the project.

The Battlefield 3 remaster will reportedly be supported with cosmetic customisation options. Battlefield V lets players earn cosmetics through playor unlock them using real-world money.

Following 2016 release Battlefield 1, Battlefield 5 was the second consecutive series entry to focus on the World Wars of the early 20th century. According to Daqarie,Battlefield 6will centre on modern day military combat, as did Battlefield 3 and 2013’s Battlefield 4.

It’s suggested EA will start teasing the Battlefield 3 remaster at itsdelayed EA Play Live showcase on June 18, which promises to deliver “world premieres, news and more”.
