Comedy ’90s first-person shooter PO’ed appears to be getting a remaster by retro specialist Nightdive Studios.
PO’ed was released on the 3DO in 1995, before being ported to thePlayStationin 1996.

Inspired by other popular FPS titles like Doom and Dark Forces, PO’ed has players controlling a chef whose spaceship has crash-landed on an alien planet.
Using a variety of human and alien weapons, the chef has to escape the planet while killing any hostile aliens in his way.

Nightdive announced its PO’ed remaster on April 1, causing many to believe the announcement was an April Fool’s joke.
However, the game is now listed onSteamandGOG, with players able to wishlist it on either platform, suggesting that it’s legitimate after all.
