Halo 5 is not coming to PC any time soon, despite its appearance on a recently leaked Nvidia Geforce Now database, developer 343 has claimed.

A datamine by developerIghor Julyleaked earlier this week uncovered potential listings for many unannounced games, including Gears 6, aSteamversion ofGod of Warand aPCport ofHalo5.

The news caused some members of the Halo community to speculate on social media that Halo 5 could indeed be coming to PC, but Halo community director Brian Jarrard poured cold water on the discussion on Tuesday.

Jarrard replied to two Halo fans on Twitter, confirming that343 Industriesis not working on a Halo 5 port, and there are no plans for one in the future.

Maybe this was for “H5:Forge” but I can confirm there are no plans to bring H5 to PC. We know there’s some demand for it, but as we’ve stated before, not in the cards as the studio is fully focused on Infinite and MCC. Will never say never, but nothing underway currently

AlthoughNvidiahas sinceconfirmed that the leaked list of titles on its database is real, it stresses that the games in the list were ‘speculative’.

An Nvidia spokseperson confirmed toWccftechthat the list was used only for internal testing, and that the games listed don’t necessarily exist.

“Nvidia is aware of an unauthorized published game list, with both released and/or speculative titles, used only for internal tracking and testing”, the spokesperson explained. “Inclusion on the list is neither confirmation nor an announcement of any game.
