Posting to X, president and founder Patrick Morgan wrote: “With a heavy heart I announce the closure of Galvanic Games.” Despite claiming that Wizard with a Gun got off to a “promising” start, sales of the title were not enough to sustain the studio. Microsoft has claimed that recent ratings board listings for an Xbox Series X|S version of Minecraft are “not indicative” of plans to release a current-gen version of the game. Microsoft has created a “confusing mess” by deciding to launch two next-gen consoles in 2020, it’s claimed. Microsoft has announced the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass, including Red Dead Redemption 2 and Halo 2: Anniversary. Veteran games designer Yu Suzuki says he hopes to one day complete the Shenmue saga, which by the end of the upcoming third game will be less than halfway through its epic revenge story. Argonaut Games has delayed its remaster of classic platformer Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, into next year. In a statementpublished on Friday, the company said that it had decided to push the remaster’s planned December release so that it could spend more time working on the game, which will now release in Q1 2025. “This decision was not made lightly, but we believe that a little more time is needed to add the final touches to ensure the game meets the high standards that we aspire to and which you deserve,” it said....
