Sony Interactive Entertainment has removed the standalone PS4 versions of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy from sale on the PlayStation Store. Their delisting from the online marketplace coincides with Tuesday’s announcement that theirPS5remasters will be released next month. Sonysaid today thatUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will hit PS5 on June 16, 2025, priced at $49.99/£44.99/€49.99. The Elden Ring Collector’s Edition has leaked ahead of its expected announcement later today. The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley has said that the upcoming show will be “significantly shorter,” than last year’s show, due to feedback from viewers. Arkane Lyon studio head Romuald Capron has left the company after almost 17 years. Capron joined the developer as chief operating officer and production director in January 2005, before also being appointed studio head in April 2019. He stepped down last week, shortly after the launch of the studio’s latest game,the critically acclaimed Deathloop, and seven months afterArkane’s parent companyZeniMax Media was acquired by Microsoft. CD Projekt and Netflix have published the schedule for July’s WitcherCon event. Billed as a celebration of The Witcher universe and its community, the digital convention will include deep dives into the making of the games and theNetflixshow, plus interactive panels with stars like Henry Cavill and the game’s developers. The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has published its provisional conclusion on Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard, and proposed that Call of Duty be removed from the deal as one possible compromise. After a five-month investigation, the UK regulator hasprovisionally foundthat the deal could reduce competition and “result in higher prices, fewer choices, or less innovation for UK gamers”.
