Universal claimed Nintendo’s game was illegally based on King Kong. However, Kirby won the case by presenting evidence that Universal had previously admitted that the story and characters of King Kong were in the public domain; thus, Universal had no legal right to claim ownership of them....

Konami has announced an interactive streaming series called Silent Hill: Ascension. Revealed during theSilent Hill: Transmission stream on Wednesday, Silent Hill: Ascension is billed as an “interactive streaming series where the entire community shapes the canon of Silent Hill.” While few details were given, Silent Hill: Ascension appears to allow groups of viewers to collectively decide what happens next in the story. A leaked Skull & Bones video provides an overview of what players can expect from Ubisoft Singapore’s upcoming pirate adventure. According to the six-minute video, which is viewable below, the game is set in a world inspired by the Indian Ocean during the golden age of piracy. Players begin their journey as an underdog whose goal is to become the most infamous pirate to sail the seas. They start off with a small dhow (trading vessel), but as they progress and their Infamy level rises, they can craft bigger and stronger ships with unique playstyles....

Guerrilla Games has recast the role of Sylens in Lego Horizon Adventures. Lance Reddick, who previously played the role of Sylens in the Horizon series,passed away last March at the age of 60.
