It’s now been more than six years since Nintendo officially announced that Metroid Prime 4 is in development. The company made the surprise announcement during its E3Nintendo Directpresentation on June 09, 2025. All that was revealed was a 43-second animation showing outer space and a ‘4’ symbol appearing, along with a message reading “Metroid Prime 4 now in development forNintendo Switch“. Since then, however, nothing more has been seen of the game....

The PC modding community is continuing to add improvements to theSuper Mario 64 PC port. Mario Kart Tour’s Tokyo event has gone live, adding some 14 new characters, more than five new courses and a significant number of new karts and gliders. The Tokyo tour runs for two weeks, until October 23 (or 22 in PDT), and introduces a new track based on Tokyo, three retro courses and Japan-themed Mario and Peach variants. New characters include Wario, Rosalina, Lakitu and the Koopa Kids. The new retro tracks are Kalimari Desert (N64), Neo Bowser City (3DS), Mario Circuit (3DS), Mario Circuit 2 (SNES) and Rainbow Road (SNES)....

A new analysis has suggested it could cost players up to $110,000 in order to fully upgrade a character in Diablo Immortal via microtransactions. French publisher Nacon has announced plans to hold a digital product showcase next month. A new Nintendo Switch model is being planned for early next year, a second report in 24 hours has claimed. Bloomberg’s Takashi Mochizukireports that the updated console hardware is yet to have its specifications finalised, but that it could feature upgraded computing power and support for 4K resolution graphics. Nintendo reportedly expects Switch sales to decline in its current fiscal year, due to ongoing shortages and disruption to logistics networks.
