A new game based on Scott Pilgrim has been announced. Scott Pilgrim EX features a new story from Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley. It’s a 4-player side-scrolling beat-em-up. Microsoft has announced its next ID@Xbox Showcase. Viewable on IGN and its social media platforms, the indie games event will air on February 24 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. Studios set to participate in the showcaseinclude11 Bit, BigFan, Critical Reflex, Daedalic, Game Source Entertainment, No More Robots,PanicandPlaystack. Activision Blizzard has told its shareholders they should vote against proposals that it make a report on the company’s efforts to prevent harassment and discrimination. The company will be holding an annual meeting of shareholders on June 21, and sent a notice to all shareholders advising them of the five proposals that will be voted on at the meeting (as reported byAxios). Of those five proposals, the board has recommended that shareholders approve of three – election of its directors, approval of executive compensation and ratification of the company’s public accounting firm....

Retro FPGA specialist Analogue has announced that its FPGA Nintendo 64 has been delayed. The Analogue 3D was originally announced in 2023 and was going to launch in 2024. This was then changed to shipping in the first quarter of 2025, but a new statement from Analogue says the console has been held back for a few months further. “Analogue 3D shipping is delayed (as of March 18th, 2025) and is now shipping by July 2025,” the statement reads....

Ubisoft has announced when Assassin’s Creed: Shadows’ first DLC is set to release, and announced when its long-requested New Game Plus mode will drop. Claws of Awaji, the first expansion to the latestAssassin’s Creedadventure, will be released on September 16. As announced before the game was released, players who pre-ordered Assassin’s Creed: Shadows will get the expansion for free. The expansion will feature a new region, bosses, and gear, and last longer than 10 hours in length, according toUbisoft....

Three minutes of new Assassin’s Creed Shadows footage has been published, showcasing the game’s exploration gameplay. The video, which comes via content creatorJorRaptor, showcases some new features, such as the ability to chain dodges into parkour gameplay. Battlefield 2042’s concurrent player count on Steam reportedly fell below 1,000 for the first time on Monday. That’s according toSteamChartsinformation spotted by aResetErauser. It shows that earlier today, just 979 people were playing the game at one point. It’s worth noting thatSteamDBdata for April 11 shows today’s concurrent player count low as 1,021. Battlefield 2042, which was released in November 2021, had an average concurrent player count of 1,963 over the past 30 days, according toSteamCharts....

Bethesda has detailed Starfield’s first update and announced plans for new features set to be delivered in future patches. The first update includes performance and stability improvements, as well as several quest fixes (see the full patch notes below). The latest Call of Duty Vanguard update has added new multiplayer map Shipment and addressed an issue preventing some PS5 owners from playing the game. CD Projekt has released the patch notes for Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.2 update, detailing the more than 500 changes set to be included in the game’s second major deployment.
