MultiVersus’ hit detection will be getting a “big overhaul”, its game director confirmed today. Tony Huynh tweeted about a new online-only update that had been added to the game, which fixed bugs affecting certain moves for Jake and Tom & Jerry. One follower replied by asking if Finn would be getting a nerf in the future, claiming his moves seemed to break through opponents’ defences too easily. Huynh replied that Finn would be getting tweaked, but that it would take place in phases because the team was working on a larger overhaul of the hit detection system....

Details of Sony’s new PlayStation VR headset have reportedly leaked. According to multipleUploadVRsources, Sony’s upcoming hardware will offer a resolution of 4000×2080 pixels (2000×2040 per eye), which is slightly less than current market leader HP Reverb G2 and a bit more than theOculusQuest 2. Combined NieR: Automata shipments and digital sales have exceeded four million units, according to publisher Square Enix. The new milestone means 500,000 copies have been shipped or bought digitally since December 2018, when the company announced the game had moved 3.5 million units. Developed byPlatinumGames, the post-apocalyptic action RPG first released onPS4in February 2017. It launched onPCthe following month before making its way toXbox Onein June 2018. Nintendo of America is officially cutting the price of Switch Joy-Con controllers in the US. From November 9 the price of individual Joy-Con controllers will be reduced by 20%, from $49.99 to $39.99. A pair ofSwitchJoy-Con controllers currently has a $79.99 MSRP. Nintendorecently confirmed that the price of single Joy-Con controllerswill be reduced in Japan from November 6. Nintendo has announced a new Switch game designed to teach players the basics of programming. Game Builder Garagewill be released on June 11 at $29.99 and features a series of interactive lessons that explain how programming works. As the player progresses through the lessons they learn the various techniques they need to help them make their own games. The lessons involve small creatures called Nodon, which each represent different elements of programming – objects, buttons, music, textures, counters, effects and so on....

Nintendo has stated that its Switch Game Vouchers promotion won’t count when it comes to Switch 2 games. Nvidia has officially unveiled its latest PC graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 30 series, which it claims can deliver up to twice the performance of its previous generation GPUs.
