Nintendo has released a 13-minute video which gives an extended look at Pokémon Legends: Arceus gameplay. The video, which can be seen in the embed below, is different from the 6-minute gameplay trailer that was released last week, which only had Japanese commentary and was six minutes long. The new video reiterates the game’s plot and its setting in the Hisui region, which was the previous name for the Sinnoh Region a long time ago....

The latest Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut update adds unlockable armour inspired by Guerrilla’s Horizon games. A new miniature console based on the Atari 400 has been announced by the makers of the C64 Mini and Amiga 500 Mini. Alan Wake 2 has now sold more than 2 million copies, according to developer Remedy Entertainment. In a financial statement summarising the company’s results for the fourth quarter of 2024 (and the calendar year as a whole),Remedysays the game passed the 2 million milestone by the end of the year. Remedy says it’s now starting to make royalties on the game, because it’s now paid off development and marketing costs involved in its making....

Electronic Arts has announced details about Apex Legends Season 13 ahead of its release next month. Titled ‘Saviors’ and set to launch on May 10, the new season of content introduces Apex Legend’s latest hero, Newcastle. “When a monstrous beast attacks Storm Point, new Legend Newcastle leaps into the fray to protect and inspire his fellow Legends: because that’s what heroes are for,” reads the description for the Saviors launch trailer, which is viewable below....

Bethesda’s long-expected Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake could be simultaneously announced and released “at any moment”. That’s according to Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb, who said on a stream Monday that he’d “been told it’s going to shadow drop at any moment this month… It’s going to shadow drop pretty soon.” Grubb’s comments follow reports from VGC and others thatthe Oblivion remake could be released in April, following months of buildup to the unannounced game....

Retro console manufacturer Analogue has claimed that even Nintendo couldn’t deliver a better modern Nintendo 64 experience than its upcoming Analogue 3D game system. Reference to an upgraded Nintendo Switch model has reportedly been found within the console’s latest firmware update, seemingly strengthening reports that a ‘Pro’ console will be released this year. The details come via known dataminerSciresM, who claims that the firmware makes reference to new hardware codenamed ‘Aula’. Aula reportedly uses a Mariko (Tegra X1+) SoC, which is the same chip used in theNintendo SwitchLite and 2019 revision.
