A pair of Indonesian studios has accused UK publisher PQube Games of claiming a diversity grant on their behalf, then withholding the money from them. Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio agreed a deal with PQube to handle the console publishing of its upcoming game A Space for the Unbound. However, Toge and Mojiken now allege that PQube used the fact the studios are based in Indonesia to get a diversity fund from “a well-known console platform”, then chose not to pass the money on to them....

The Pokémon Company has announced the next raid event coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Water–Tera Type Dondozo with the Mightiest Mark will be appearing in 7-star Tera Raid Battles while Curly Form Tatsugiri, Droopy Form Tatsugiri, and Stretchy Form Tatsugiri will be appearing in mass outbreaks across various locations. Ubisoft intends to release Rainbow Six Siege for PS5 and Xbox Series X when the next-gen consoles launch, according to the game’s director. Capcom has released a new trailer for Resident Evil Village Gold Edition. Set for release on October 28, Gold Edition will include the base game with three major new features, which will also bereleased separately as Winters’ Expansion. An update to Mercenaries mode called Additional Orders, which is the focus of the latest trailer below, introduces new playable characters including Lady Dimitrescu, Chris Redfield and Heisenberg. Winters’ Expansion will also include a third-person mode, allowing players to see the protagonist Ethan as they play instead of playing in a first-person perspective....

Microsoft has revealed September 2022’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles. Double Kick Heroes (normally $21.99/ £18.49) will be available as a free download from September 16 to October 15. Original Xbox game Thrillville (normally $9.99 / £8.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members from September 1-15. And from September 16-30,Xbox 360title Portal 2 (normally $19.99 / £14.99) will be free to download. Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced a new, smaller PlayStation 5 model, which will be available in standard and Digital editions.
