Google has announced a wide library of games for its forthcoming streaming service,Google Stadia. During its first Stadia Connect livestream on Thursday, the company confirmed that more than 30 titles will be available on the streaming platform when it launches in November. Stadia’s library is highlighted byLarian Studios’Baldur’s Gate 3,Ubisoft’sTom Clancy’s Ghost Recon BreakpointandBungie’sDestiny2. The announced library also features games from studios such asElectronic Arts,Square Enix,2Kand Bethesda.Googlepromises there will be more titles to come....

Grandia HD Collection will finally be released for Xbox and PlayStation consoles this month. Featuring remasters of Game Arts’ classic RPGs Grandia and Grandia 2, which were originally released in 1997 and 2000 respectively, the collection will hitXbox OneandPS4on March 26. It will be playable onXbox Series X/SandPS5via backwards compatibility. Limited Run Gameswill also be releasing physical editions of the collection, which will be available to pre-order starting on March 15....

Square Enix’s recently announced Guardians of the Galaxy game will also be released for Nintendo Switch later this year. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version will launch forNintendo’s console on June 17, 2025 – the same date as the previously announcedPS4,PS5,Xbox One,Xbox Series X/SandPCversions release. Like the cloud versions ofControland Hitmanpreviously released for Switch, the game will require a stable and permanent internet connection to play. Players will be able to download a free launcher application to test the game for a limited amount of time before deciding whether to purchase an “Access Pass” for the full game....

Halo studio 343 Industries is reportedly set to lose another member of its leadership team in the shape of engineering director David Berger. That’s according to aLords of Gamingreport corroborated byWindows Central‘s sources. Former FASA Interactive developer Berger has been with 343 for over 14 years and atMicrosoftfor over 20. During his time at 343, he has built a 120-strong engineering team “from the ground up”, according to his LinkedIn profile....

New Helldivers 2 details have been announced ahead of the game’s release for PS5 and PC next month. In aPlayStationBlog post, developerArrowhead Game Studiosconfirmed that the game will support cross-play. It also revealed the title’s minimum, recommended, performance, and ultra system specifications forPC, which are viewable below. And it has released a newtrailerfor the third-person co-op shooter, which will be published bySonyon February 8. Announced during a PlayStation Showcaseevent last May, Helldivers was initially scheduled for release in 2023before being delayed....

Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding is now available for Xbox Series X|S in a surprise release. The developer announced theXboxversion in a social media post on Thursday, and confirmed that it will be available at a 50% discount for a limited time, which means it costs $19.99 in the US, and £17.49 in the UK. The announcement was made as the clock ticked to midnight in Japan, marking exactly five years sinceDeath Strandingwas first released forPlayStation 4, which could suggest that an exclusivity agreement expired....

The PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn sold 716,000 copies digitally during its release month, representing a strong start for PlayStation’s platform debut. That’s according to Nielsen’sSuperData, which said in its latest digital global market report that the game had aPClaunch “nearly as large” asThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Star Wars: Jedi Survivor’s launch sales were over 30% greater than its predecessor, Fallen Order, in the UK. That’s according to new digital sales data shared byjournalist Christopher Dring, which reveals that Survivor’s digital performance accounted for almost double what Fallen Order managed back in 2019. This is expected, since digital adoption has accelerated significantly since Fallen Order was released back in 2019. However, it should be noted that Survivor retailed for £10/$10 more than its predecessor....

Konami and Bloober Team have announced that they will be working together again on a new game. Bloober Teamenjoyed critical success with its remake ofSilent Hill 2, but now the studio will work with the publisher on a new title. While it would appear that a newSilent Hillgame would almost certainly be on the cards, Bloober Team’s statement simply says it will be working on “a new game based onKonami‘s IP”....
