The mid-season update for Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season 1 has been detailed ahead of this week’s launch. Ninja Gaiden 2 Black will be getting an update next month which will address the game’s balance and add new features. Team Ninjaannounced today that it had released a version 1.0.6.0 patch for the game, fixing an issue where the options for DLSS and XeSS weren’t appearing on thePCversion of the game. “Based on the feedback received, we are preparing a patch aimed for release in mid-February with some balance adjustments and additional features,” it added....

Nintendo and Niantic have released a simple browser-based AR game called Pikmin Finder. Available for camera-equipped mobiles and tablets,the free gamechallenges players to locate AR Pikmin in their home or immediate surrounding. Depending on the time of day, players will be able to find different types of Pikmin. Once found, the plant-like creatures can be plucked from the ground with a swipe of a finger and can then be followed as they retrieve different ‘treasures’ located nearby....

Nintendo has increased the number of custom courses players can upload in Super Mario Maker 2. In an in-game message sent to players on Wednesday, the company confirmed the course upload limit has been increased from 32 to 64 courses per user. Nintendoalso said it will raise the course limit “one more time” in the future. Palia developer Singularity 6 has laid off 36 employees. A Vietnamese hardware modder has built a custom water cooled PlayStation 5 console and suggested he’ll soon make them available to buy. CustomPCcreator Nhenhophach built the console over two months, first by deconstructing aPlayStation 5console and then creating entirely custom plates and parts, in order to reassemble it with a new water cooling system. Water cooling is a method of heat removal using water, which is often more efficient and less noisy than traditional air cooling systems which use large fans....

The Pokémon Company has confirmed the release date of the second full expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. The Space-Time Smackdown expansion will be released on January 30 and features two separate types of booster pack featuring LegendaryPokémonDialga and Palkia. The expansion will add a number of new cards and illustrations to Pokémon TCG Pocket, with some Pokémon appearing for the first time in the app including Lucario, Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup....
