Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella is to take charge of support team DICE LA, which will become its own studio entity under his leadership. While the LA branch of Stockholm-based Battlefield developerDICEhas previously acted as a support team, Zampella plans to rebrand theEA-owned studio ahead of the release of a new game of its own. Respawn has offered fans a glimmer of hope regarding the possibility of new Titanfall games. The company tweeted on Wednesday to say the series “is the very core of our DNA”, likely in response to statements made by studio community coordinator Jason Garza during a recent live stream. Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that it will soon stop supplying a PlayStation 5 adaptor that allows the original PlayStation VR headset to work on the console. In order for PS5 owners to get the original PS VR headset to work on the console, they need torequest a free adaptorfor thePlayStationCamera, which is the only method of support, since PS5’s HD camera does not support the old headset.
