A new mobile game based on Sega’s Shining Force series is due to be released next year. Tentatively titled Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness, the game is being developed by Hive, the Japanese arm of South Korean game publisher Vespa,Gamer.ne.jpreports. According to a statement from Hive, the company has signed a licensing contract withSegato develop a game based on the Shining Force IP and release it in Japan, Korea, other Asian countries, Europe and the United States....

Nintendo has released the much anticipated version 2.0 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons a day earlier than originally planned. Apple Arcade will reportedly cost $4.99 following a one-month free trial period. A Destiny 2 cheat seller has been ordered to pay developer Bungie $12 million in damages. As reported byTheGamePost,Bungieoriginally filed a lawsuit against Romanian cheat-seller Mihai Claudiu-Florentin in 2021. It alleged that the defendant “developed and sold” popular cheat software called VeteranCheats, which enabled users to gain an unfair advantage over other players by aiming more accurately and seeing through walls. Bungie argued that this diminished the enjoyment of the game for those not cheating and reduced its potential revenue from in-game sales....
