Xbox Series S has reportedly outsold the more powerful Xbox Series X in several key markets during the consoles’ first year. YouTube has demonetised Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm’s channel, following allegations he was banned from Twitch for messages sent to a minor. In a statement made toKotaku, a YouTube spokesperson confirmed that Beahm was no longer able to make money from his YouTube videos and suspended his channel from the YouTube Partner Program. “We have suspended monetization on DrDisrespect’s channel for violating our Creator Responsibility policy,” the spokesperson said, going on to confirm that YouTube had “suspendedDr Disrespect’s channel from the YouTube Partner Program following serious allegations against the creator”....

Masters of Albion, a new game from Peter Molyneux, has been revealed during Opening Night Live. The game is being developed by ex-Fable devs, as well as ex-Media MoleculebossMark Healey, according to Molyneux, and is entirely self-funded. The game’s announcement trailer can be viewed below. A new psychological test has been launched to determine whether participants suffer from the World Health Organisation’s newly recognised “gaming disorder.” Theonline test, which can be completed in around 20 minutes, allows participants to compare their game playing activity with the rest of the community. The test was put together by academics from universities in Europe, China and Australia. The aim of the survey is to get “the highest possible number of gamers” to support it in order to obtain “the real numbers of Gaming Disorder in the gaming population,” its supporting documentation says....

Multiple news outlets reported an incident around the Ubisoft Montreal building in Quebec, Canada on Friday. Ubisoft has denied that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be an Adults Only game featuring “real gambling”. The new series entry wasrevealed on Saturday with a debut trailercarrying an ESRB AO for Adults Only logo. AnXboxstore listing for the game, which has since been updated, also initially carried an AO rating, with content descriptors including real gambling. “Following the announcement of Assassin’s Creed Mirage duringUbisoftForward, some store pages mistakenly displayed the game for preorders with an Adults Only ESRB rating and are being fixed,” the companysaid....

Ubisoft has revealed plans to stage an “immersive symphonic concert” to celebrate Assassin’s Creed’s 15th anniversary next year. Created in partnership with Overlook Events (Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya Symphonic Adventure concerts), the event will include a full orchestra and choir supported by video, lighting and sound effects. The world premiere of theAssassin’s CreedSymphonic Adventure will take place at the Grand Rex in Paris on Jul 09, 2025, with a world tour scheduled to begin in early 2023....
