PlayStation and Insomniac Games have revealed the first gameplay video for Spider-Man 2, which is planned for release on PS5 in fall 2023. The gameplay reveals several new features as well as a key villain, Kraven the Hunter. “This version makes his debut appearance inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2and he’s in search of an equal,”explainssenior community manager, Aaron Jason Espinoza. “That spells bad news for the inhabitants of Marvel’s New York including a rogue’s gallery of villains and the Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales....

Guerrilla Games has listed the known Horizon Zero Dawn PC issues it’s currently investigating ahead of the game’s launch. In an update onSteamahead of the game’s August 7 release (it will also be available via theEpic Games Store),Guerrilladetailedtwo “high priority” issues it’s looking into. It said anisotropic filtering settings aren’t working at the moment, while “some systems may experience a brief stutter during general world traversal, UI updates, quest updates, or camera swaps in cutscenes”....

Several large Pokémon content creators have been banned on Instagram, with no reason given for the ban. The issue was first highlighted in thePokémonTrading Card Game community, which saw many of the largest creators receive messages that their Instagram account was on hold. Then, several creators reported that their accounts had been banned permanently. In a strange twist, a few creators were able to regain their accounts simply by logging in and verifying their information, but others were seemingly permanently banned when they tried to appeal the decision....

Hazelight has teased that its next game may be announced later this year. Actor Keanu Reeves stars in Cyberpunk 2077’s debut advertising spot, which aired on US television on Wednesday. “In Night City you’re able to become anyone,” Reeves says in the ad. “If your body can pay the price.” The Matrix and John Wick star was unveiled as aCyberpunk 2077character during theE3 2019Xboxpress conference, best remembered forhis interaction with an audience member. PlayStation co-creator Ken Kutaragi still owns one of the fabled Nintendo PlayStation prototypes, it has emerged. Konami has acknowledged that Metal Gear Solid 4 is still only playable on PlayStation 3, over 15 years after its release. Publisher Krafton has responded to a lawsuit filed by former Subnautica leads, stating that it “look[s] forward to defending ourselves in court”. Details on thecase against Krafton by the three fired Unknown Worlds executiveswere revealed this week, after documents related to theirlegal action were published. CEO Ted Gill, co-founder and creative director Charlie Cleveland, and co-founder and technical director Max McGuirewere fired by Kraftonearlier this month, and accuse the publisher of obstructing the 2025 release plan for Subnautica 2 in order to avoid paying a $250 million earnout....
