Japanese developer and publisher Sunsoft will seemingly be hosting a second presentation next week. The company, which was prolific during the ’80s and ’90s but has been quiet in recent years, held a presentation in August 2022 called Sunsoft is Back, in which it announced some new games. Now, as spotted byNoisy Pixel, a second livestream has appeared on the company’sofficial YouTube page. This second stream, which is titled Sunsoft is Back 2, will go live on April 19 at 11pm PT / April 20 at 2am ET / April 20 at 7am BST....

Classic British TV show GamesMaster will be returning again next year, Channel 4’s sales team has confirmed. The much-loved ’90s series made a comeback in 2021 in the form of three special episodes, broadcast on E4 and the E4 YouTube channel. Now, according to a tweet by Channel 4’s sales team (as spotted byTime Extension), the series will be back in 2023. A press release on the Channel 4 Sales website states that GamesMaster’s return will be in the form of a “gaming ecosystem on C4’s social platforms”....

Nintendo has announced its next Nintendo Direct presentation. “Tune in on Wednesday, June 18 for a livestreamedDonkey Kong BananzaDirect presentation,”Nintendoannounced on the Nintendo Today app. No further information was shared. TheNintendo Directwill be streamed on Nintendo’s social media accounts, as well as the Nintendo Today app. Donkey Kong Bananza will release on July 17. EA Sports is reportedly close to signing a commercial deal with the Premier League, which could be worth close to £500m. EA’s first game based on the World Rally Championship (WRC) will be released in November, according to a leaker. A new trailer for Gex Trilogy has been released. The collection, which consists of all three Gex console games, will be released by Limited Run games. Ghost of Tsushima fans have helped raise more than $260,000 to rebuild a shrine on the real Japanese island. Yuichi Hirayama, a priest at Tsushima’s Watatsumi Shrine, launched acrowdfunding pagein November to help rebuild a Torii gate that recently collapsed during a typhoon. The crowdfunding effort concluded on Sunday with more than 540% of its 5,000,000 JPY ($47,500) goal raised.
