Link was originally going to have dialogue for the first time in a first-party Zelda game in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Lost Ark is set to introduce a new European server region to cope with demand following the game’s massive launch. Weapon Tuning has been removed from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Ahead of next week’s release,Sledgehammer Gameshas posted ablogdetailing the game’s progression system, as well as the Gunsmith, which is the in-game screen for customizing weapons. A new rating on the ESRB website suggests that Resident Evil 6 may be coming to current-gen consoles. A search on the US game ratings board’s website shows that one of its latest rating decisions is an M forResident Evil 6 on ‘Xbox Series’. A Nintendo insider has claimed that the company is working on a re-release of Metroid Prime for Switch, separate from any potential Trilogy plans. Nintendo has said that any potential acquisitions it makes would be driven by the company’s need to keep pace with “rapidly advancing technological innovation”. Nintendo Switch 2 has set a new launch month record in the US. That’s according to Circana data, which suggestsSwitch2 sold 1.6 million units in June, a further 500,000 on top ofNintendo’s first-week figure, and more than the 1.1 million record held byPlayStation 4’s 2013 launch. Switch 2 helped propel US June hardware spending upwards a huge 249% year-on-year to $978M, which is a record for a June month, far surpassing June 2008’s $608M....

Nintendo has announced that its mobile game Dragalia Lost will reach its conclusion this year, and will then be terminated. In a statement on the game’s website,Nintendoconfirmed that the mobile title – which was developed by Japanese mobile studioCygamesand published by Nintendo – will see its long-running story ending in July. The game’s servers will then be turned off at a later date, essentially rendering it no longer playable....

Sony has announced November 2024’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics titles.
