Ubisoft has denied claims it’s planning to cancel Roller Champions. Over the weekend Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb said he’d heard from a source thatRoller Champions is going be cancelled after Season 3. But in a statement released on Monday,Ubisoftdenied it was planning to axe the free-to-play game,which was only released in May. “Hello Champions! Plans for a live-action series based on Ubisoft franchise Driver have been shelved, the company has confirmed. However, the company has claimed it’s still planning projects related to the series, despite no major game release in over a decade. The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has expressed its concern that Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard could “significantly weaken” PlayStation.
