Nishino emphasized that PlayStation now has multiple generations of experience providing players with cloud-based gameplay, and stated that while he views it as a viable option for players, he believes overall demand remains for the “local execution” of games....

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential monthly games for August. The games will be available to claim from August 5, and will be available for members of all threePlayStationPlus tiers – Essential, Extra and Premium. Sony may be planning to add a new ‘premium’ tier of PlayStation Plus which includes a Crunchyroll subscription. That’s according to aEurogamerreport, which claims there are plans to offer Crunchyroll as part of a more expensive PS Plus subscription.
